Refuges at Last Mountain Lake Preserve More Land Noted

The 1887 Order-in-Council reserved about 2 500 acres across multiple townships for wild fowl breeding grounds. Lake Town Launch To Aid Devils Lake Access

W S Rattray announced plans to buy a gasoline launch for fifteen people to promote Devils Lake visits. Road improvements from Canora to the lake and a new bridge from the Point to the grounds will be completed by June 15, with a dancing platform ready.

Parkhurst Sentenced to Six Months in Moosomin Jail

Charles Parkhurst of Tiny pleaded guilty to stealing furniture from a box car at Tiny station. He was tried at Yorkton before Judge Gordon after opting for a speedy trial and received six months hard labor in Moosomin jail.
