Farmers seek Dominion and Provincial help to expand cultivated land in Saskatchewan. The petition from Arlington No. 79 urges loans of four dollars per additional acre broken up before July 4, 1915, repaid after 1916, with municipal officials supervising loan distribution and tax-like collection.
The notice lists church services for Pastor Rev Percy Smith with times at 11 a.m. Lake, 2 p.m. Wexford, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev A Kennedy B A and Rev G B McLennan BA of Yorkton lead the Sunday service at 7:50 p.m. and Sunday school starts at 8 p.m.
The Rev. A Brock Hum of Wadena and Margo will preach in the school room at 3 PM. The Rev. A B Humphrys will preach in the reading room. Local notices show a meeting and statutory notice referenced in the period.
