Death of John Hardenbergh at Canon City Falls Silent
John Hardenbergh dies after a diving accident at the sanitarium springs last Saturday. He passed away at noon yesterday at his home 323 North Fourth Street, leaving a wife and his mother. He belonged to the Knights of Pythias Woodmen and Yeomen and held life insurance in those orders totaling about four to five thousand dollars. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

In the state log rolling drill at Minnequa Park Pueblo last Tuesday Canon City Camp No 7390 earned second prize a $100 purse. Pueblo Camp No 7111 won first and Colorado Springs team third. Sixteen Canon City men led by Captain C C Hopkins competed before a large Woodmen crowd with over one hundred local excursion tickets sold.

Moonlit Royal Gorge Excursion Delights Local Holders
A moonlight trip last Friday night through the Royal Gorge under Tar Rec orp auspices drew a large crowd and offered exceptional views of limestone cliffs and illuminated shadows.
