Rhodes museum visit sparks 5000 TV set rush in Greece
Monday reports say 5,000 free TV sets appeared in Rhodes after a televised offer. Police blamed a publicity mix up as queues formed for old model sets worth thousands. Campaigners claimed the scheme exploited the public before being scrapped. Nearby, yachter Bill Nance survived a capsized voyage near Albany after a 100 mph gale. He will stay in Perth for repairs before resuming travel.
