Dodge Polara Line Introduces 1966 Models and Features
Dodge unveils 1966 Polara models including 2 and 4 door hardtops, wagons, sedans, and a convert ible. New V8 options 440 cubic inches and 383 cubic inches standard on most models. The Polara 5% sports version adds bucket seats, console, and improved seating design with safety gear selector features. Public display begins at Schiller Motors.

Girl Scout Workers Plan Local Program in Wilson Ledbetter Park
Girl Scout workers met at the Scout Hut in Wilson Ledbetter Park with Mrs W Wallace neighborhood chairman to plan the local program. Mrs Herman Brown was named chairman of the Calendar Sale for Cadets and Juniors with advance orders due October 1. Proceeds support the local troop. A Leader Training School is set for October 8 from 9 30 a m to 12 noon in Rookdale. The Annual Council Conference will be held October 15 and 16 in Austin.

Services Held For Mrs Hildebrandt Former Resident
Funeral services for Alma Hildebrandt 84 who died September 27 in Nederland were conducted at Liberty Church with Rev George Doss presiding and burial in Liberty Cemetery. A Cameron native she had lived in Nederland four years and was a Methodist. Surviving are two sons Don Hildebrandt Sheppard Vernon Hildebrandt Winnsboro two daughters Maude Fuller Port Arthur Marda Kirk Sheridan two brothers Willie Lantrip Lake Charles Henry Lantrip Denton three sisters Lillie Reese Cotulla Johnny Nicholson Paris and Clydelle Jacob Yorktown four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Brucellosis Tests Continue In Milam County
Cattle in Milam County area are still being tested for brucellosis. Testing may be arranged through the County Agent's office. Local veterinarians are working on the project and other personnel will be in the county as needed, Dr. Sousares said.

History Club Meets With Mrs Lawrence
The History Club met Tuesday afternoon at the home of president Mrs Mary McLane Lawrence. Twenty one members answered roll call and new member Mrs D R Dodson was welcomed.
