A two vehicle crash on the old Temple highway near the Highway 36 cutoff at 7 30 p m injured Walter Marek Jr the Burlington postmaster who was a passenger in a car driven by Leon ard Pelzel of Burlington. Marek was hospitalized in satisfactory condition. Joe Rozner Jr of Cameron drove the other vehicle a pickup which ended on its side in a ditch.
The Cost of Living Council requires post office issued ceiling price and octane grade stickers at each pump. The September 7 deadline applies to all gasoline and diesel retailers, with one instruction sheet and one sticker per pump or per grade.
