John Tomasek died at an Austin hospital on October 15 after three years of illness. A retired farmer born May 14 in Flatonia he lived in Milam County. Guy C. Bross dies veteran and deacon at 76

Guy C. Bross 76, formerly of Cameron, died October 14 in Abilene after a heart attack at home. He moved to Abilene from Cameron, worked for Paymaster Co. until 1958, and was a World War I veteran and deacon at Abilene’s First Baptist Church. Services were held in Elliott’s Chapel with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Survived by his wife two daughters two sons 14 grandchildren seven great grandchildren.
