Cameron Library Board Approves Annual Budget

Cameron library board approves an $11 821 55 budget for Oct 1 1976 to Sept 30 1977 and votes a $35 monthly raise for librarian Kathrine Looney. Chamber Plans Halloween Movie in Cameron Downtown

The Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce Trade Committee will host its annual Halloween film event on the downtown mall Saturday October 30. Dan Long, chair, announced cartoons featuring Wylie Coyote and the Road Runner will precede and follow the main feature Mad Magician. Cold drinks and popcorn will be sold and downtown Cameron businesses expect evening shopping.

Cameron city officials and the Chamber of Commerce outlined plans for holiday decor in the downtown area. 12 foot green trees with stars, animated snowmen, and a Santa visiting chair are funded within a $2,000 budget.

Meeting To Air School Tax Recommendations
