John Collins Dies in Cameron After Home Accident
John Collins, 57, longtime Ben Arnold resident, died at 10:30 p m Friday in a local hospital from injuries after cranking a car in gear, which ran over him and dragged his body about 50 yards. Funeral services were at 4:30 p m at Ben Arnold Baptist Church with burial in Ben Arnold Cemetery. His death brought sorrow to the local community and county.

Negro Woman Held for Oklahoma Officers in Cameron

Funeral for Frank Dunkel Held in Cameron
Frank Dunkel aged 75 a Vogelsang resident was found dead at his home and funeral services were held in Cameron from Green Funeral Home with interment in Vogelsang cemetery. Rev Robert Kalkbrenner led the Lutheran church rites. Survived by one sister Mrs Johana Nicolas of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews.

John Zalesky 48, Cameron merchant, died Saturday afternoon October 2 1937 from peritonitis due to a gastric ulcer and intestinal perforation. Funeral at St Monica’s Church October 4 with burial at Sto Monica’s cemetery. survivor list includes mother Mrs A Zalesky, wife Josephine Hrozek and children Mrs Louis Raska and Arthur Zalesky, plus siblings and in laws.
