Gray Timber Wolf Caught By Hunters Near Rice School
A large gray timber wolf accused of harming farmers near Rice School House was chased for one hour forty minutes by Walker hounds from Jeff Cochran W L Angell and E J Pfarrdrescher. The wolf was shot with a Winchester after the dogs fought it and was shown to the County Judge as hunters expect a $10 bounty.

H P Black who has served as educational director for two years at the local Baptist church has accepted a call to the Bryan church to perform a similar role.
