Thomas L. Kirk, 31, of Houston, died en route to Newton Memorial Hospital after a head on collision on Highway 36 east of Cameron. Six others were injured including Mrs Gladys Kirk and Mack Biggers family. Biggers said he swerved to avoid the other car.
