The Cameron couple Mr and Mrs Sterling P Cross observe 35 years since their Thanksgiving Day wedding at Cameron Presbyterian church the first ceremony in the new building Rev R K Moseley officiated. In the Texas district court John Ponton was tried first and received a five year penitentiary term with suspended sentence. J P Ponton got a one year term. The elder Ponton appeals while the son is imprisoned. Grand Jury returned seven felonies and one misdemeanor with additional cases and noted witness nonappearances hinder court functioning. Judge John Watson noted prosecutorial thanks and transferred a pistol case to county court. D J Kubecka vs Cameron Compress Co seeks 25000 for injuries from an employee. Buckholts Bank vs J D Fikes set for November 28. Petit jurors listed for the first week of the session.
Advice on urinary irritation from acidity. Recommends drinking soft water and Jad Salts to neutralize acids, reducing bladder irritation. Suggests four ounces of Jad Salts daily for two to three days and annual kidney checks by a physician.
