Texas Governor to Meet Mexican Leader in Laredo Conference

Baltimore, November 23. Ot to Buelow of Unger, a deserter from the Prinz Eitel Friedrich now interned at Norfolk, said in six months there will not be a war munitions plant operating in the United States. Detective Robert Porter reported the arrest, noting Buelow pretended not to speak English but conversed in it during the Norfolk trip. He claimed he knew locations of all munitions plants and would die before revealing details.

Death of W F Echols at 1 30 PM in Belton
W F Echols died Sunday afternoon at 1 30 at the home of his son Prof E B Echols after long illness. He was born February 4 1840 in Alabama and moved to the state in 1869. A Confederate soldier, he was beloved by veterans. Funeral Monday at North Belton Cemetery, Rev E C Boynton officiating. Survived by widow two sons J W Echols Camer on and E B Echols Belton and daughters Mrs McWilliams Belton and Mrs Tannehill Granger plus stepson S M Gentry Killeen and several grandchildren.

The State allows teachers pursuing higher certificates to retake subjects until achieving desired grades, then submit reports for highest scores to obtain the higher certification. Examinations run Thursday to Saturday, covering history of education physics geometry literature physiology chemistry accounting geography civics grammar and more.
