Milam Grand Jury Returns 13 Indictments

Round Rock routs Cameron Yoemen 33-8 in season finale

Halfback Monroe Daniels rushed 180 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries to pace Round Rock to a 33-8 win over Cameron Yoemen in the final game for both teams. Cameron scored late on a 17-yard run by fullback John Steamer, but Round Rock led 25-0 at halftime and finished 9-1 for the season while Cameron ended 7-2-1 in 19AA.

Senate Grants $1 Million For Buying Land For Reservoirs

The U S Senate approved one million dollars for land acquisition for Laneport and North Fork reservoirs on the San Gabriel River. Rosebud led 27 0 at halftime as Alvin Jones opened with an 80 yard punt return and Jack Turner and Luther Alexander scored in the first half. Alexander added a 24 yard sweep and Kiey converted the final PAT as Rosebud finished 5 5 in District 22A.
