Buckholts School announces Homecoming Friday November 2 with a 7:30 p.m. football game between Buckholts Badgers and Oglesby Tigers. Sweetheart crown at 7:15 p.m. involving candidates Terry Zajicek Susan McNeil Vicki Orsag and Laura Kuzel escorted by seniors Glen Roesler Douglas Williams Harold Gaas and Larry Orsag. Freddie Wolters of Bryan and governor of District 2 S3 will speak at the Cameron Evening Lions meeting at 6 30 p m November 1 at the Cameron Community Center. Wolters joined Lions International in 1957 and led the College Station Club as president in 1962 1963, also serving as zone chairman district convention chairman deputy district governor and Lt Governor.

Cameron high school senior David W. Hollas and science teacher Fred T. Johns will travel to Chicago for the National Youth Conference on Science and the Environment. Eight Texas Power and Light area representatives are among about 700 delegates from 50 states. The 1973 theme is The Physical Climate in Which Man Lives. delegates will hear from leading environmental and science experts. Hollas was chosen from TP&L service area applicants.

Local Seniors Test For Alcoa Scholarships At SAT Centers
Forty four seniors from 12 area high schools will take SAT exams at seven centers seeking two four year $4 000 Alcoa Foundation college scholarships for the children of Alcoa Rockdale Works employees. Since 1953 twenty eight scholarships have been awarded to dependents of local workers. Woman Dies After Wreck Near Ben Arnold
Funeral service for Mrs. Henry Greener of Wesphalia was held at Hoelscher Funeral Home in Rosebud. She died from injuries after a Friday evening collision on Highway 77 about one mile south of Ben Arnold. Henry Greener and Irene Hager of Dallas were listed in satisfactory condition at St. Edward Hospital. Highway patrolman Leroy Broadus said the Greener car struck the rear of a vehicle driven by John F. Vallejo of Dallas who slowed to allow a mobile home trailer to pass. Cameron Fire Department washed down gasoline spilled on the highway.
