Shuffield Transferred After Severe Burn At Plant
Darrell Shuffield of Cameron was severely burned when he slipped into a pot of boiling aluminum at the Alcoa aluminum plant in Rockdale. He was moved from Richards Hospital in Rockdale to Newton Memorial Hospital where doctors report serious burns and an uncertain outcome for his right foot. He is married to Peggy Shuffield and has two children, Cindy and Bubba.
