The State Highway Department awarded a $320 038 contract to Holland Page of Austin for 7.58 miles of grading structure and roadbed on Highway 77 from the Milam county line to north of Rosebud and extending 0.5 miles to the Falls county line. Milam County to begin work at once after fence clearance and right of way moves. Rosebud voters approved $25 000 for right of way and curb building. Construction from Cameron to Burlington area expected to start in June, with plans to rebuild 36 through Cameron to the Bell county line once right of way is secured.
