County Agent George Banzhaf directs a cement on the farm demonstration to be held May 22 at 10 9 a m at the Griffith poultry farm north of Cameron. The event, arranged with the A M College and Portland Cement Company, seeks farmer attendance and improved farming methods.
The advertisement promotes Ely's Cream Balm to relieve catarrh and nasal congestion. It claims quick relief from stuffed nose headaches and breathing difficulties by applying a small amount in the nostrils, soothing swollen mucous membranes and clearing air passages. It urges buyers to ask their druggist for a small bottle.
Reports from Cameron and surrounding areas indicate heavy damage to cotton and corn from Monday night hail and wind. In Buckholts Yarrellton Watt Swithin Marek Maysfield and Branchville crops were beaten down with large hailstones and some cotton and corn will require replanting across hundreds of acres.
