Education Movement Aims for South Building Boom
The Christian Education campaign of the Southern Methodist Church seeks 33 million dollars for 91 church schools and universities. Texas gets about 6.19 million for new buildings and enlargements, with donations from notable figures and early subscriptions exceeding 1 million dollars. Major figures like Governor Stuart and Major-General Leonard Wood back the effort, which plans canvassing May 29 to June 6 across 37 conferences.
