Sealed proposals will be received in Austin until 9 00 A M May 25 1957 for a public works seal coat project covering 168 266 miles from Franklin to Navasota River and across numerous farm to market and state routes in Robertson Washington Freestone Madison Brazos Grimes Burleson Leon and Milam counties Plans and specs are available at the U S Crain Resident Engineer Bryan Texas and Texas Highway Department Austin The project follows state wage laws and requires payment of prevailing local wage rates and holiday rates as defined by House Bills 54 and 115 of the Texas Legislature.
