City Council Meets in Regular Session on Tuesday
The city council convened with full membership and reviewed minutes. Man saves girl from giant rattlesnake in Austin
Frank L. Willis of Temple risked his life to free a six year old negro girl from a six foot rattlesnake on the Austin riverfront. He was bitten on the arm but received prompt medical care and decapitated the snake with a knife. Willis earned Carnegie Medal eligibility for the selfless act.
