Rehearing Sought in Newton Case
Emory B. Camp announced a motion for re hearing will be filed with the Court of Criminal Appeals in Austin to reconsider its Tulsa verdict upholding Dr W R Newtons two year sentence for assault to murder Dr Roy P Hunt of Littlefield. Died in Alvin Kyle Springer Dies at 44
Kyle Springer 44 died at his home in Alvin on Tuesday. The body was taken to his sister’s home in Milano. Funeral services were held at 4 P.M. Wednesday at the Milano Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow Frances Springer of Alvin, three daughters, one son, a grandson, and several siblings. Interment followed in Milano Cemetery.
