Warrants Held Up By Comptroller
Austin Texas March 26 It was learned today that Comptroller Terrell has not yet issued warrants in response to two Senate resolutions appropriating money to pay personal expenses of two members. He is awaiting legal advice before proceeding further. The January 18 resolution appropriated 175 for Senator W D Sutter to cover illness and accident expenses. A March 9 resolution appropriated 250 to pay expenses for sending a Senate delegate to the Confederate reunion in Washington DC in June.
