Buckholts Builds Boom With Post Office Bank and Stores

Buckholts undertakes a major rebuilding phase with a new 80 by 80 foot brick structure housing a post office and a bank with 20000 capital led by W H Stone. A 20 by 40 foot bank vault with a concrete floor, a 950 dollar safe, and a Buckholts Mercantile Company charter of 20000 capital are planned. / The town also sees a two story brick business block, a new gin, grocery stores by Loftin Hill and Otto Richter, and multiple new residences, signaling vigorous growth.

Major McGregor Stricken with Paralysis at Mineral Wells

Major McGregor, 64, suffered throat and vocal cord paralysis at Mineral Wells last Friday. His sons Claude, Marill, Walter and Homer were kept from the room save for a nurse and physician as he spoke. He takes nourishment via tube after a restless night. Claud returned to Cameron Tuesday.
