While passing a renter’s home he helped a poor woman cut wood, proving a practical, if unorthodox, campaign tactic. The anecdote circulates with praise for Muse’s voter appeal and his large election margin in Milam county years ago.
Bosque County and Montague County set primaries for next Saturday with the Bosque congressional race drawing the most attention as voters head to the polls for party nominations.
