1952 Totals Released On Highway Casualties
Col. Homer Garrison Jr. announced Texas’s final 1952 traffic fatality tally of 2,498 deaths, down 48 from 1951, a 7.0 death rate per 100 million miles, lower than the national 7.3 rate.
