Clarence Booker Indicted for 1932 Cameron Murder
Clarence Booker, a black man, indicted this week by a McLennan County grand jury for the murder of Cameron grocer Andy Smith on December 21, 1932. He is jailed in Waco awaiting trial and will be returned to Cameron to face the charge after notice to the county sheriff.
