Milam County Court Accepts Banking Commissioner Offer
Milam County Texas on February 29 1932 considered the Banking Commissioner’s written proposition regarding funds on deposit in Cameron State Bank at failure. The court noted an indebtedness of about 108000 to the county for state county and school funds and that the Commissioner would credit the suit claim for collateral securities to secure the bank’s debt. The plan would allow regular dividends on the 108000 or true amount due until total repayment equals the county’s claim. The court acted to proceed with the offer.
