Cameron city council votes to remove the nonfunctioning downtown traffic signal and install four-way stop signs. Officials also discuss two new fire trucks, a grass-fire unit with wet water capability, and a bid for 100 plus street signs costing 816 dollars.

Fines cap at 25 dollars for removal of the sign, 100 dollars for a second offense. Salvage proceeds offset costs, taxes may be assessed, and owners can appeal to a five member board and then to the City Council in writing.
