Falls Auction Sells Cattle and Hogs at Higher Prices
All time high prices observed at Falls Auction Monday as steer calves rose $4 to $5 from last week and hogs gained with sows $2 higher. Choice and prime steer calves 260 to 310 pounds sold for $85 to $91, with hogs up to $39.40 for best offerings.
Escaped Prisoner Sought After Milam County Breakout
Milam County lawmen search for John Charles Enderson 20 who escaped from the county jail Thursday night by removing bricks from bars and climbing out. Enderson, a parole violator from Coryell County, was awaiting transfer to Huntsville state prison and was last at large Friday. Authorities also probe a Mayfield home burglary as rural breakins rise.

Phones On Increase Showing City Growth in Cameron
Cameron's telephones in service rose to 3 527 as of December 1 1972, a 3.8 percent rise. Southwestern Bell Manager Dennis Richter says growth makes Bell the largest U S phone company by market reach with 11 447 000 phones across Texas Oklahoma Arkansas Kansas Missouri and part of Illinois. Suits Against Rep Dan Kubiak To Be Dismissed
In Beaumont two damage suits filed in December against State Reps Carl Parker and Dan Kubiak will be dismissed on motions in state and federal courts. Parker's father H A Parker is also to be dismissed. Frank Jernigan of Pensacola remains a defendant. Seven-County Radio Setup Fund Approved in Central Texas
CTCOG approves a $350,000 plan to install a high band multi-channel radio system for Bell Coryell Hamilton Lampasas Milam Mills and San Saba counties. Bids go out with 45 days for responses then CTCOG selects the lowest bid and applies for justice council grant funding. The system will serve all law enforcement agencies in the seven counties.
