Fred Unk Young of Cameron selected as captain at Georgetown Southwestern lettermen gathering. He is a two letter football veteran and was a halfback on the mythical conference team. Young competes in hurdles discus and javelin as Southwestern aims for a strong Texas Conference season.
A joint meeting is scheduled between the Cameron Federation of Missionary Societies board and a committee from the community vacation group to discuss plans and coordination. The gathering aims to align programs, share resources, and set outreach goals for upcoming activities.
A Bible school will meet at the residence of Mrs J P Love on Friday March 2 at 3 30 p m. The event invites attendees to join in study and fellowship at the home.
