Cameron Opens Free Open Air Band Concert in Civic League Park
Cameron high school led Cameron Concert Band under Prof J N Crawford held its first free outdoor concert. The 48 piece group drew several thousand to the pavilion, with saxophone quartet solos and a cornet duet amid praise for the raw recruits and quick learners. The Lone Star Band founder and Rotary tour figure Crawford lends high expectations for the ensemble.
