Chief With No Feather Heads Navajo Rail Crew
Kenneth Eriacho 34 known as Chief With No Feather leads a 75 man Navajo crew laying 1440 foot rail strings on the Santa Fe line from Cameron to Somerville. He serves as foreman and notes the crew works from Cameron with a six week on seven day cycle, living in rail cars and starting at 5 30 a m. The project aims to replace 112 pound rails with 119 pound continuous weld track to reduce noise. Eriacho, three quarters Navajo, has worked for Santa Fe 14 years and previously for Union Pacific and Rio Grande. He and his wife Katherine and seven children live near Rama New Mexico.

Beeville's Eldest Citizen Charlie Butler Dies at 101
C F Butler aged 101 formerly of Gause died in a Beeville nursing home after living in Gause for over eight decades. Born December 16 1865 in Nacogdoches he farmed and ran cattle until retirement. Survived by four sons a daughter seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral held at Gause Methodist Church with interment in Gause Cemetery. Green's Funeral Home arrangements.

Burglars Loot Ad Hall Home of Mrs Adrian Barber
Silver burglars broke into the Ad Hall residence of Mrs Adrian Barber while she visited a sister in Temple and carried off appliances and silver. Sheriff Carl Black reported the home was stripped of all electrical appliances including a new television set purchased that weekend.

Born February 2 1892 in Washington County he had lived in Cameron seven years. Surviving are brothers Will and John Ondrej of Cameron and sisters Miss Anna Ondrej Mrs Emma Biskup of Houston and Mrs Lena Biskup of Wichita Falls.

In the 1967 Little League season half over the Colts and Yankees share the lead with one loss each. The Yankees beat Indians 8 to 2 as Friemel started and Barron finished, with Eanes and Smitherman among the scorers.
