Hanover Picnic Party Plagued by Red Bugs and Drought
A Hanover group enjoyed a grove picnic last Thursday despite red bugs and parched crops. Attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Greg Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Draper, Miss May Williams, Lizzie and Nellie Ditto, Mr. George Ditto, Mr. Albert Fisher, and Mr. Whit Brcanbrack. The piece notes broad water woes in Brenham with privileged owners receiving water while many renters are cut off, reflecting a strained system and inadequate supply for households and irrigation.
