Jack Moore Convicted of Murder in May District Court
Jack Moore was convicted in District Court Saturday for the May 18 murder of Mann Davis near San Gabriel. He received a 50 year penitentiary sentence after a jury verdict reached Friday night. Moore, who commented he would be 83 on release, appeared unmoved and spoke with his attorney. Defense was by Senator Wood and O. D. Graham. DA Jack Lewis and E. A. Camp prosecuted. Davis was killed while plowing his field.
