Army Sgt Albert B Reed and his wife Withe home at 810 Wo Ninth St Cameron received a safe driving certificate in Vietnam. Serving with the 129th Ordnance Company he earned the award for ten months of driving military vehicles without accidents or traffic violations. Reed enlisted in January 1957 and serves as a tire inspector in his unit.
Mrs. Gus Evans and children returned from Canada last week. The Richard Williams and Alvin Meyers visited Cameron after a camping trip to Oregon. Weekend guests at W. H. Gilbert in Buckholts included Joe James and children of Freeport, John Lee Persky and Linda Mitcham of Fort Worth, C. B. Gilbert and Sadie Johnson of Cameron, and Rosie Fuller with Denny of Houston.
