Cameron Resident E G Lowe Dies of Heart Attack
E G Lowe 59 of Cameron died suddenly at 4 30 am Saturday at his home from a heart attack. He was a North Carolina native who had managed the County Farm on Cameron’s northern edge for over a decade and is survived by his widow and six children. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Milam County Defense Bond Committee finalized plans for a Defense Rally to be held Tuesday night July 21 at 3 o clock on the Yo High Athletic Field. The program includes America sung, colors presented by the Taylor Home Defense Guard, invocation by Rev Father Connell, and a 20 minute talk by William F. Smith of Waco. A 10 minute drill exhibition by Taylor closes the program.
