Notice of Sheriff Sale of Real Estate in Milam County

Sheriff to sell on the first Tuesday in August 1988 at Cameron Milam County Court House to satisfy a judgment against Rosa Gickthorn and others. Property is 107 1/2 acres in Justo Siendo Four League Survey four miles northeast of Thorndale and eighteen miles southwest of Cameron known as Rosa Gickthorn Farm. Described in deed of trust dated April 10 1924 and recorded in Milam County. Sale proceeds to satisfy $3,757.05 plus interest and costs.

Fuchs Brothers Win Poultry Prizes at Rogers Fair

Fuchs Brothers and their flock owners scored top prizes in the Poultry division at the Rogers Rural Community Farmers Fair held July 1 and 2. Ideal Hatchery owner Leo Fuchs exhibited the most birds, taking multiple firsts and top placements in White Leghorns and Rhode Island Reds. other winners included Walter Fuchs, L A Abel, Frank Kovar, Frank Shinker, and guests visiting from Waco Plainview and Memphis.
