Texas Folklife Festival Set for San Antonio in September
Texas will host the nation’s first statewide folklife festival from September 7 to 10 in downtown San Antonio. University of Texas Institute of Texan Cultures director R. Henderson Shuffler says the event will showcase Texas immigrant heritage through food music dance games and crafts. The festival aims to act as a statewide showcase for local traditions already celebrated across the state and attract both Texans and visitors.
