The Missouri Pacific's Texas Better Health Special on the L G N railroad will arrive in Rockdale Tuesday January 24 at 2 15 p.m. and depart at 4 15 p.m. Local agent R D Barnes says arrangements will care for hundreds of visitors. Rockdale Bride-To-Be Dies Day Of Wedding
Miss Mabel Peterson dies after a ten day influenza illness with complications. Her funeral is held at Pleasant Hill church nine miles south of Rockdale with Rev. Chas F. Smith officiating and Scarbrough and Hicks staff acting as pallbearers. Survived by her father, four sisters, two brothers. She was to be married on the day of her death.
