Gause Farmer Louis Hafley Found Dead in Pasture
Louis Hafley 60 was found dead in a cedar grove near his Hanover road farm in Gause. Physicians say a heart stroke caused his death after he had left the farm to inspect timber on Tuesday afternoon. He owned a large Milam County acreage and is survived by his widow and a family of children with funeral services held in Gause cemetery.

Wilkerson Bros garage and auto agency in Cameron has moved from the M. G. Cox building south of the square. Perry Wilkerson says he will not reopen the business at the present time. The garage was one of Cameron's oldest auto agencies and cites business conditions as the cause.

The converted buildings will form a large showroom for Mr. Eplen whose business was strong in 1937. Wilkerson’s garage leaves the Cox building after over 20 years in business.
