Pickups Collide In City Mishap

City police investigated a two pickup accident at 7 15 a m Tuesday at Vine and Fourth with damage to both vehicles and no injuries to the drivers. The pickups were driven by Wil fred Baker of Rt 3 Cameron and Ed Wildgrube of Rt 3 Cameron. The Highway Patrol reported a truck accident east of Milano at 7 45 a m Monday. A Roadways truck from Shreveport La jack nired but the driver Cecil Robertson of Shreveport was not injured.

CTCOG wins HUD Section 8 approval for seven county area including Buckholts Rockdale Thorndale and Rogers. Annual $840 180 will fund rent subsidies for 600 units with tenants paying 15 to 25 percent of income and HUD covering the rest.

McCutchen to Lead Milam County Chamber of Commerce

McCutchen, Milam County agent and former vice-president of the Cameron Area Chamber, will assume as chamber head on March 1 after being elected president. He has served as director and on committees including broiler, agriculture, and public relations. William Kelm leaves the role. New officers include LaVert McKinney as first VP and Milton Wright as second VP. Six directors and numerous committee chairmen are named for the new chamber year.
