An evening class at 7 30 pm Monday to Friday except Saturday will study the Old Testament per the Sunday School Board. Open to all, including non teachers, with Dr J B Tidwell as author. The program aims to strengthen faith and knowledge among attendees.
The Cameron Baptist Church hosts a Y P program on March 7 starting 2 30 PM with Pep Songs Scriptural reading Solo by Miss Evans and a B Y P U study Courage Week led by Mr Hutcherson. A B Y P U worker from Waco gives the address followed by a Round Table Discussion and a piano solo by Miss Cornelia Gurin. Prayer of Dismissal ushers in the event.
A study of last year’s Southern Baptist contributions shows 97 1 2 cents of every dollar were spent on self and 2 1 2 cents on all Baptist enterprises. Authors ask what if ten cents per dollar were donated to Baptist work, estimating a potential $149 538 458 64 in funds for local church needs and denominational programs.

Milam County issues sealed bids to dismantle and re erect the Old McCown Bridge near Cameron and on a 150 ft span at Little River and a 100 ft span at Gulch. Bids due March 4 1928. The state commands the Milam County sheriff to summon unknown heirs of Mrs. M. Bishop by weekly publication for ten weeks. They must appear at the next district court term in Cameron on March 1, 1926, to answer a petition filed January 29, 1926 in case No. 9489 where Tom Phillips is plaintiff.
