Dr Manning Lectures In Cameron Texas Historian Visits History Club
Dr W R Manning professor of history at the University in Austin lectured in Cameron on Friday and Saturday under the Cameron History Club. He spoke on early Mexican history and on Madero era events with stereoptical views and later addressed social purity for local youths at the Methodist church. The visit included receptions at the Henderson home and an informal luncheon, with lasting civic and intellectual impact noted by attendees. Mr L A Penich visited Cameron this week.
