Wood to Discuss Marshall Coaching Job

L. C. Wood, head football coach at Yee High School, has been asked to meet the Marshall School Board to discuss the coaching post. He received the telegram Wednesday and plans to travel to Marshall within a day or two. He has been elected for two more years in Cameron.

Milam County Castor Bean Crop Totals 1933 Production

Castor bean farming in Milam County raised 1933 pounds from 3 1/2 acres under an experimental Texas Power and Light Co. program. Led by Cameron residents John B. Henderson and D. K Hall with 957 and 889 pounds, others included J A Henderson Ed Pagel and Miltom Boone. The crop was threshed by a company representative after storage and seed was provided by sponsors. The TP&L paid two cents per pound, above recent New York price ranges.

Bob Luce Dies at 52 in Milano

Funeral services were held for Bob Luce aged 52 at the First Baptist church in Milano with interment in Milano cemetery. He died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at his Milano home after four months of declining health. A farmer by trade, he drove a Milano school bus for six years and is survived by his widow, daughter Emmie Katherin of Cameron, his mother Mrs. Emmie Luce and sisters Mrs. Frank Paschal and Miss Ann Luce of Milano.
