Milam Areans Charge Capital Murder in Lampasas Killing
Milam and Areans face capital murder charges for the Feb 4 robbery and killing of 89 year old Sadie Staunton of Lampasas. John Lopez 19 and David Mark Wolf 18 were arrested and held by Justice of the Peace. Staunton was found injured and died en route to the hospital.

Cameron police recovered a stolen car used by 17 year old David Waters after a Thursday two car collision at 4 and Crockett. Waters said he escaped from the Gatesville Texas Youth Council two weeks earlier. Mary Thweatt backed from her driveway on S Crockett and hit James Kelley of San Saba. no injuries but both cars were towed.
