Mr Ed Frazier of Ben Arnold asks the Cameron Herald to continue backing good roads in Milam County. Texas Governor signs Senate Bill No 278 with emergency clause making it law at once. It redefines county funds to include county and taxing municipal funds and deposits all such funds in the county depository. Tax collectors must place tax money with the depository and lose interest for about 45 days previously. Comptroller approval required for depository bonds and surities relieved from liability for deposited funds with interest loss if not deposited. County and state interests protected by new rules.
