A town canvass sold 254 tickets at 100 cents each to fund a week long Chautauqua in Cameron. Speakers include Stalker the Cartoonist, Count Sobieski the exiled king, and Dr. Shouse. The event features Farmer’s Day with 400 free tickets by businessmen and season passes for fourteen attractions at 100 dollars or 25 cents single admission.

McKinney Wedding Procession Reaches Sap Depot for Waco Departure
The ceremony saw Alex McKinney and C D Fears leading the groom up the east aisle while Mina Bernie McKinney Mise Nettie McKinney and the bride joined on the west aisle. Rev Ar Buckle officiated and the couple left for the Sap depot to take a train to their new home in Waco. The community sent best wishes.

For details, write C Scott, Rockdale, Tex. Policeman R H Burch killed Night Watchman William Derrick with a shotgun at Brenham on a recent Friday night. A $1,000 bond was set. The case history resembled the Rockdale incident, with trouble brewing.
