Loyalty Loan Drive of Texas Baptists to Raise 1 Million
The Loyalty Loan drive begins February 9 across Texas to refinance denominational school debts at 6 percent interest. The Baptist General Convention authorized up to 1 million in bonds to fund new improvements and long term solvency, aided by a 100 member Business Men’s Campaign Committee and bonds secured by first mortgage on 2 million in property.

Smash-Up Damages Two Cars Near High School
Yesterday afternoon about 4 oclock a collision near the high school damaged a Chevrolet belonging to Wilkersons Garage and a Ford truck owned by John Brooks. Driver Walter Walker escaped injury as oil spill covered the street and a wheel broke on the Ford.

Jeff T. Kemp of this city received notice from the American Surety Company of his appointment as acting postmaster for Cameron.
