The First Baptist Church in Cameron presents Temple Civic Chorus and Central Texas Area Orchestra on December 17 at 8 pm. Featuring 70 singers and 23 musicians directed by Larry Guess, the program includes Bach Magnificat and Handel Messiah with Corelli’s Christmas Concerto between works. Five soloists perform and the event is funded by the Alcoa Foundation with no admission charge.
Five country paintings display at Cotton Blossom Antique Shop and Gallery Calvert opened December 9 and runs through December 11 from 1 to 6 p.m. Rachael Tennyson, great granddaughter of Alfred Lord Tennyson, presents sixty works illustrating her impressionistic style across America Belgium England and others.
